One of my other friends the is frequently on TheJunction's IRC server is Rick Rose, or FireBird. We're both resonably close to each other, so we see quite a bit of each other. Every so often, TheJunction has a 'meetup' where people who know each other from the IRC channel arrange a date, tiem and place to meet up, and chat, have lunch, whatever.
